1. Stay hydrated 

You should always try to stay hydrated throughout the day, but especially when you are planning for a night out! When you’re out, alternate your drinks and/or sips with a glass of water. You can even order sparkling water and add lemon or lime as a Keto Girl friendly mocktail!

2. Eat protein & fat 

Eat a meal or snack with protein and fat before you head out. If you’re eating out, order some gluten-free, dairy free appetizers like smoked salmon. 

3. Review the menu beforehand & plan

Keto Girls arrive prepared! This will help you stay on track with your goals and is essential for weight loss while reversing Hypothyroidism or Hashimoto’s. Having a plan takes off the stress and improves confidence while having FUN!

4. Be a food and drink snob

Ask for what you want. You’re paying for the service and deserve to get whatever food or drink you request! You can even tell your server that you have a gluten and dairy allergy. They will be more inclined to cater to your needs and provide you with exactly what you want. Then of course, tip well!

5. Start with 1 fun cocktail & follow with a Keto Girl friendly drink 

For a fun drink opt for the one drink you LOVE! Yes, it can be any sweetened mojito, cosmopolitan, margarita ect! The key is choosing your favorite and enjoying it slowly! Then, opt for a Keto Girl friendly drink afterwards, such as: a low carb cocktail without the sweetener (i.e. informing bar tender to not include simple syrup or agave), dry wines, champagne, spiked seltzers and hard liquors.
